This policy applies to personal data collected through the offplandisputes.ae website. It does not cover any other website you may reach through a link from this site. Each external website has its own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them.

To provide legal services. If you go on to instruct Millath Legal FZ LLE or its India affiliate, we use your information to carry out that engagement. The lawful basis is the performance of our contract with you and our compliance with professional and regulatory obligations.

To operate and improve the website. We use technical and analytics data to keep the site secure, to fix problems, and to understand which content is useful. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a safe and effective website.

To comply with law. We may process personal data where we are required to do so by applicable law or by a competent authority. The lawful basis is compliance with a legal obligation.

Millath Legal FZ LLE is based in the UAE. Some of the service providers we use, including our analytics provider, may store or process data on servers located outside the UAE. Where personal data is transferred outside the UAE, we take reasonable steps so that it remains protected to a standard consistent with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law.

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it.

Enquiry data from website forms is kept for the period needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable time afterwards in case you contact us again. If your enquiry does not lead to an engagement, we delete or anonymise it once it is no longer needed.

Client data, where you instruct us, is kept for the duration of the engagement and afterwards for the period required by our professional and regulatory obligations.

Analytics data is retained for the limited periods set within our analytics tools and is held in aggregated or anonymised form.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. This website is intended for adults dealing with property and contractual matters. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in the website, in our practices, or in the law. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised. Where a change is significant, we will take reasonable steps to make it noticeable on the site.
